Once again, Paula Sullivan has created a spectacular knitted blanket which will be raffled for the 2021 Christian Community Advent Fair Fundraiser.This gorgeous 65” X 65” blanket was knitted with Noro Ito, a 100% wool yarn, in a pattern from Timeless Noro Knit Blankets. By using six different colorways of Noro Ito knitted in strips and joined together, the blanket creates a stunning rainbow of varying vivid hues. An I-cord of a seventh colorway encloses the shimmering strips.
The raffle will begin on Monday, November 1. Each raffle ticket costs only $5 and you can acquire them:
- In person, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays after the service (around 10am) and Sundays at 12pm from Sanford Miller.
- By mail, by sending a check for the number of tickets you want to receive to: The Christian Community, 10030 Fair Oaks Blvd, Fair Oaks, CA 95628. Please be sure to include a contact phone number and an email address. You will be sent an email with the numbers of the tickets you have purchased and a record will also be kept at the church.
- Congregation members are also encouraged to pick up tickets at the church to sell to friends, colleagues and neighbors. You will receive an envelope with a picture of the blanket, a description of it and the number of tickets that you want to sell. You will need to return the money you have collected and any unsold tickets to the church by Wednesday, December 15 at the latest.
- We will draw the winning number for the prize on Sunday, December 19. You will be able to purchase tickets in person at the church until that day.
